Wimobot.com is the official site for information on WiMo, the Windows Mobile Robot, created by Brian Cross.

Brian Cross is a developer in the Windows Mobile Shell team at Microsoft.  His area of work includes API design and implementation as well as application compatibility.

Brian Cross in Nice, France

Some of the reasons that Brian built WiMo are:

  • To show some of the cool things a developer could do with a Windows Mobile device.
  • Provide sample code for the developer community.
  • Show off other Microsoft technologies (like Microsoft's Robotics Studio).
  • He always wanted to build a robot.

When not working at Microsoft or building robots, you may find Brian out Lindy Hopping (swing dancing), writing and performing sketch comedy, at a Seattle Seahawk's game, or cruising from coffee shop to coffee shop.

If you have any questions about WiMo, or want to share your WiMo project with Brian, don't hesitate to email him!
